Job Title: Greenhouse Worker

Wage rate: $18.25 per hour for 40 hours

Job Duties:

• Plant, transplant, water, and care for greenhouse crops including bell peppers and cucumbers according to production schedules.
• Monitor crop growth and maintain proper greenhouse temperature, humidity, ventilation, and irrigation systems.
• Prune, clip, train, and support cucumber and pepper plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yield.
• Inspect crops regularly for pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and plant damage, and report issues to supervisors.
• Harvest bell peppers and cucumbers carefully based on quality and maturity standards.
• Sort, grade, label, and package harvested produce for shipping and customer distribution.
• Clean and sanitize greenhouse areas, tools, containers, and equipment to maintain food safety and production standards.

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, hot/cold.
