Work Location: 12011 Mitchell Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 1M7, Canada (WORK MAY VARY ON DIFFERENT SITES.)
Wage Rate: $42.00 per hour, (37.50 hours per week). Overtime will be paid after 40 hours
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Experience: 1- 2 years of relevant experience.
Languages: Basic English is required.
Job Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, loaders and graders to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction and related activities.
- Operate excavator bulldozers or other heavy equipment to fulfill the project requirement.
- Operate heavy equipment with pile driver head to drive piling into earth to provide support for buildings, bridges or other structures.
- Operate heavy equipment to move, load and unload cargo.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment.
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Finding information, Continuous learning.
Work Environment/Conditions: Outside, Inside, Heat, Sun, Rain, Cold. Depending on the work requirements, the candidate will be expected to work in up listed working environment.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work outdoors full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
