Overview

Santouka Kamei Canada Foods Ltd. (dba Hokkaido Ramen Santouka) is seeking a Restaurant Manager.

 

Permanent, full-time (30-44 hours per week), $36.00 per hour. Bonus is available based on sales performance.

 

Standard 6-8.8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 12am as required.

 

Locations:

Shifts may be scheduled at any of the following locations, as needed:

1. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, 2057 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, M4S 2A2;

2. Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, 91 Dundas Street E, Toronto, ON, M5B 2C8.

 

Duties:

·      Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant;

·      Establish menu and services to be offered and implement operational procedures accordingly;

·      Balance cash and complete balance sheets cash reports and related forms;

·      Supervise employees and conduct performance reviews;

·      Organize and maintain inventory;

·      Ensure health and safety regulations are followed;

·      Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;

·      Participate in marketing plans and implementation;

·      Address customer complaints or concerns;

·      Provide customer service as needed;

·       Cook everything on the menu;

·       Create ramen soup bases.

 

Qualifications:

·      A college diploma or university degree is required;

·      Minimum 5 years of previous food industry experience is required;

·      Minimum 2-3 years of previous supervisory or management experience is required;

·       Previous experience with Japanese Ramen cuisine is an asset;

·      English language ability is required;

·      Japanese language ability is an asset.
