Position: Restaurant Manager

Position Available: 1
Term of Employment: 35 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)

Work Location: 433 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6C 1T1

Vacation Fee: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of gross salary

Salary: $38.50 per hour

 

Job Responsibilities:

– Plan, organize and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant

– Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures

– Monitor revenues, control operating costs and assist with budget planning

– Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff performance

– Prepare staff work schedules and adjust labour requirements

– Organize and maintain inventory of food, beverages and other supplies

– Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food, beverages and other supplies

– Work with clients to arrange catering services and private events

– Handle customer complaints and ensure high standards of customer service

– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

– Balance daily cash receipts and prepare cash reports

 

Job Requirements:

– Minimum 5 years of experience in a food service or hospitality industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role, is required

– Completion of College in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or any related fields

– Food Safe Certificate is required

– English is required
