Specific Skills:

Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities, Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment, Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment, Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, Perform other duties related to personal care, Supply and empty bed pans, Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Serve meal trays and feed patients, Weigh, lift, turn and position patients, Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms, Supervise patients’ exercise routines, Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Maintain inventory of supplies, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs, Collect specimens, Administer first aid in emergency situations, Record observations, Document observations on patients’ specimens, Address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions, Record vital signs, Clean and dress wounds, Record vital signs. Record observations. Address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions. Implement infection-prevention measures and control, including PPE use, disinfection of patient equipment, and waste segregation. Perform tasks by checking and cleaning medical assistive equipment for safety and functionality or assisting with the setup of certain equipment. Clean, assemble, and maintain patient-care equipment (wheelchairs, walkers, suction devices, and assistive devices); Monitor inventory of sterile and non-sterile supplies.
