Overview
The Sheet Metal Worker will play a crucial role in installing and fabricating sheet metal components for duct work, air conditioning (AC) systems, and furnaces within new construction environments. The ideal candidate will possess experience in sheet metal installation, a solid understanding of HVAC systems, and the ability to thrive in diverse construction settings.

Duties:
Duct Work Installation: Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork for efficient ventilation systems.
AC and Furnace Installation: Assist in installing and connecting air conditioning units and furnaces, ensuring precise alignment and optimal functionality.
Fabrication: Create custom sheet metal components tailored to specific project requirements.
Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation and adherence to project specifications.
Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct inspections and tests of completed installations to ensure quality and performance, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and practices to maintain a secure working environment.
Collaboration: Coordinate closely with other construction professionals, including general contractors, electricians, and HVAC technicians, to achieve project goals.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, with a strong background in new construction projects and HVAC systems.
Skills: Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and installation, with comprehensive knowledge of ductwork, AC systems, and furnaces.
Tools and Equipment: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments used in sheet metal work.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to effectively read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Physical Stamina: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various construction environments.
Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
