We are looking for a new nail salon manager at IVY Nails & Spa

 

Position: Nail Salon Manager

Work Location: 1-155 Morison Ave., Parksville BC V9P 2G3

Work Conditions: 30hrs/week, Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $36.6/hour + Vacation fee (4% of gross salary)

Available vacancy: 1

 

++Requirements:

– Completion of secondary school and other trades certificate or diploma is required (or equivalent experience)

– Minimum 4 years of experience as a nail technician

– Any experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset

– English is required

 

++Duties:

– Plan and control the inventory and equipment for salon operations

– Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems

– Direct and control daily operations

– Train and supervise staff in job duties, safety procedures and policies in the salon

– Consult and suggest new nail designs suitable for customers

– Applying acrylic, gel nails, extensions, and nail polish

– Evaluate condition of client’s nails and advise on nail care and effective nail care trimmer

– Sanitize all nail instruments and equipment before and after use

– Always maintain a clean and safe work environment
