Job Title: Cook

Work Location: Same as above

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Vacancy: 2

Hours of Work: 30~40hrs per week

Wage: $17.40 per hour

Benefit: 4% of salary for vacation remuneration or 10 days of paid vacation.

Language: English

 

Job Duties:

 

l  Prepare and cook various types of Japanese dishes on the menu.

l  Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

l  Cook food according to recipes.

l  Prepare and make sauces for the meal on the menu.

l  Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers.

l  Check food stocks and order to maintain food supplies.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Education: Completion of high school is required

Experience: Minimum 1~2 years of experience as a cook OR completion of college or other programs in cooking or food safety is required.
