Job Description:

– Position: Cook

– Employer: Jimmy’s Lunch Box

– Work Location: 22504 Lougheed Hwy ,Maple Ridge ,BC ,V2X 2V1

– Business Address: Same as above

– Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

– Wage: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

– Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week

– Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% of salary as vacation renumeration

– Language: English

– Vacancy: 1

 

Job Duties:

·        Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods from the restaurant menu.

·        Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and lunch items such as benedicts, skillets, burgers, pasta, salads, and waffles.

·        Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are consistently met.

·        Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and kitchen equipment.

·        Clean kitchen and work areas and ensure sanitary food handling practices are followed.

 

Job Requirements:

– Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

– Experience: Minimum: 1~2 years’ experience in this field OR

Three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR

Completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety
