Overview
Hiring two Restaurant Managers
Qualification:
– Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is required. Or Completion of secondary school with extensive (Over four years) supervisory experience will substitute the formal education requirement.
– Several years (2 – 3 years) of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience is required.
– Able to work flexible schedule including weekend and evening and holiday shifts.
– Food Safe certificate (Level 1) and/or Serving it Right BC is required.
– English is required for this position.
Main duties:
– Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a restaurant.
– Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
– Estimate food requirements and estimate food and labour costs.
– Recruit staff and oversee staff training.
– Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
– Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices.
– Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
Working hours:
30 hours per week (full-time, permanent position)
Wage & Benefits:
– $34.75 – $36.75 per hour
– 4% vacation pay, shared gratuities, and free meal at work
