Kids Park Childcare Inc. is looking for qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our centre!

 

*Job Description*

Job Title: Early Childhood Educator(ECE)

Employer: Kids Park Childcare Inc.

Business Address: 140 Renz Rd, Parksville, BC V9P 1M5

Work Location: Same address at above

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: ASAP

Number of Openings: 2

Hours of work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Wage:  $ 35.00  – $36.00 per hour (to be negotiated)

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation fee remuneration

 

*Job Duties*

–       Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.

–       Maintain and update the individual record of children handled taking note of the program’s positive and negative results.

–       Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and hygiene habits.

–       Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers working with children.

–       Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their children’s development needs and learning process.

 

 

*Job Requirements*

Education: A two- to four-year college program in early childhood education or a bachelor’s degree in child development is required for this role.

Experience: Previous experience in a childcare setting is an asset

License:  Early Childhood Educator License required.

-First Aid and CPR Certification is required.

-Criminal record check, immunization records
