Overview

Kizuna Sauces Inc. is seeking a Head Cook for their Penticton, BC location.

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $36.60 per hour. Extended health available after three month probation period. Bonus is available based on sales performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 8am and 8pm as required.

 

Duties:

·      Prepare ingredients;

·      Prepare sauces and other Japanese food products;

·      Coordinate and oversee kitchen staff and cooks in managing the preparation of food;

·      Ensure all food products are consistent in quality;

·      Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese cuisine techniques, and other matters.

 

Qualifications:

·      Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience in commercial food preparation;

·      English language ability required;

·       Japanese language ability is an asset.
