++We are looking for a skilled accounting technician to work as a part of our team++

 

Position: Accounting Technician

Number of Positions: 1

Wage: $36.6 per hour

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)

Vacation: 6% of gross salary

Benefit: Health (PHSP plan), Professional Fees (Training/Learning)

Work Location: 300-111 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC V7M 2E7

 

++Requirements

– Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field (or equivalent experience)

– Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

– Expertise with Excel and familiarity with accounting and management programs

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

– Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure

– Fluent in English

 

++Main Duties

– Keep financial records and maintain various accounts using bookkeeping software

– Maintain general ledgers and financial statements

– Set up financial statements and enter opening balances

– Prepare personal and corporate tax returns

– Prepare T4/T5 slips

– Prepare review and compilation engagements

– Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports

– Perform other general administrative as assigned
