Overview
Job Duties
– Prepare and cook food items.
– Ensure all dishes and recipes are made to standard.
– Help oversee kitchen operations and food service areas.
– Assist in the supervision and training of kitchen staff.
– Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
– Monitor, maintain and replenish supplies as needed.
– May assist in menu planning.
Employment Requirements
– Minimum 2-3 years of professional culinary experience.
– Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and perform well under pressure.
– Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
– Willingness to learn and take direction from others.
– English language ability.
– Completion of secondary school.
Job Details
– At least $21.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
– Permanent, full-time (at least 30 hours per week) position.
– Benefits include gratuities.
– Physically demanding.
– Standing for extended periods of time.
– Day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
