Overview

Longview ESSO is seeking a Store Manager to direct and oversee daily operations of its gas station and convenience store.

Responsibilities:

Direct, organize, control and evaluate daily store operations.
Supervise employees, assign duties and coordinate work schedules.
Determine staffing needs and oversee recruitment, hiring and training.
Prepare budgets, monitor sales, revenues and operating expenses.
Oversee payroll administration, cash management and sales reconciliation.
Determine merchandise and services to be offered.
Manage purchasing, suppliers, inventory and stock levels.
Implement pricing policies, promotions and marketing activities.
Resolve customer complaints, supplier issues and inventory shortages.
Maintain operational, safety and security procedures.
Use POS systems, inventory software, spreadsheets and accounting tools.

Qualifications:

Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant retail supervisory or management experience.
Proficiency in English.
Experience supervising staff and coordinating retail operations.
Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control and bookkeeping.
Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Work Location: 100 Morrison Road, Longview, Alberta
Wage: $47.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
