Restaurant Manager

Menya Enterprises (dba Yah-Yah-Ya Ramen) is seeking a Restaurant Manager for their Richmond location.

Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), $38.00/ per hour. Plus bonus depending on sales performance.

Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 7am and 9:30pm as required.

 

Duties:

·      Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the restaurant;

·      Establish menu and services to be offered and implement operational procedures accordingly;

·      Balance cash and complete balance sheets cash reports and related forms;

·      Supervise staff and conduct performance reviews;

·      Organize and maintain inventory;

·      Ensure health and safety regulations are followed;

·      Manage staff recruitment and coordinate training programs;

·      Prepare staff work schedules;

·      Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies;

·      Participate in marketing plans and implementation;

·      Address customer complaints or concerns;

·      Provide customer service as needed.

 

Qualifications:

·      Secondary school completion is required;

·      Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.

·      A college diploma or university degree in a hospitality industry program is an asset;

·      Previous Ramen cooking experience is an asset;

·      English language ability is required;

·      Japanese language ability is an asset.
