Wage: $20.00 per hour, 30 – 40 hours per week

Positions Available:   2 vacancies

Job Description:  Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods as well as batters for muffins, cookies, cakes and other desserts/pastries; Bake the products previously listed; Prepare icings and frostings according to recipes; Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods; Prepare special orders including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances; Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards; Operate and clean machines and keep work area tidy; Organize and maintain inventory; Food safety/handling skills; May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

Cuisine specialties: Gluten-free and Vegan

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 3 years’ experience required

Languages:  English

Work setting: Bakery shop

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail; Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination; Tight deadlines; Handling heavy loads of up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)
