Overview

Nagomi Sushi is hiring an experienced Japanese Cook in Whistler. 

• Preparing Sushi and cooking other Japanese traditional food and all kitchen food from the menu
• Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness
• Discuss improvements of menus, foods and quality of service with the chefs
• Assist chefs in creating new menu
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Train and supervise kitchen helpers
• Clean kitchen when necessary

 

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school
• 1 year of commercial cook experience
• Previous Japanese restaurant cooking experience an asset

 

Full-time, Temporary 2-3 years

All season, 30+ hours per week

$21 per hour

Language of work is English
