New Club Cafe is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Vulcan, Alberta.

Position Details
Position: Kitchen Helper
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Wage: $16.00 – $16.50 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: On-site in Vulcan, Alberta

Key Responsibilities
Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and assist with table setup
Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans
Wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items by hand when required
Place cleaned dishes and utensils in storage areas
Replenish condiments and supplies in serving areas
Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts, waste disposal units and other equipment
Clean and sanitize kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
Remove kitchen garbage and waste materials
Receive, unpack and store food products and supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and storage areas
Handle and store cleaning products safely
Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit for food preparation

Requirements
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically capable of standing for extended periods
Able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Attention to detail and strong work ethic
No language requirement
