Responsibilities:

Tasks:

  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
  • Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination
  • Cultivate on vertical farming system
    Direct agricultural crops clipping activities
  • Direct greenhouse and nursery operations
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
  • Greenhouse cleaning
  • Implement sustainable gardening trends such as permaculture practices
  • Mixing fertilizer
  • Oversee deleafing horticultural crops activities
  • Seed cutting
  • Supervise staff in shoots positioning and seed cutting
  • Tie and secure plants
  • Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
  • Weeding
  • Control reported insect, disease and weed problems
  • Determine type and quantity of stock to grow
  • Establish and maintain required environment
  • Establish work schedules
  • Hire, train and supervise staff
  • Order materials and stock
  • Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding and spraying

Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility

Experience and specialization: Area of specialization- Cannabis processing
