Job Title:   Cook

Employer: Nourish Cafe Inc.  o/a Nourish Bistro

Business/Work location: 110, 211 Bear Street, Banff, AB T1L 1B4

Terms of employment:   Permanent, Full-time, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Wage: $19.00 per hour, 32 hours per week

Benefits: May provide periodic wage increases per industry standards and employee performance; Relocation costs (airfare) covered by employer

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Setting / Work Site Environment: Restaurant; Bistro

Job Description / Tasks:  Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods; Inspect kitchens and food service areas; Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food; May order supplies; Supervise kitchen staff and helpers; Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment; Clean kitchen and work areas; May manage kitchen operations; Food safety/handling skills; Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.

Experience: 2 years of commercial cooking experience

Cuisine Specialties: Vegetarian; Vegan
