We, Nuwavez Cabinet Industry Corporation, are looking for a passionate candidate for the position of full-time Graphic Designer.

 

Position: Graphic Designer (NOC 52120)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day

Hourly Wage: $28.00-30.00

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: 110, 2620 Centre Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2A 2L3

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·         Meeting with clients to ascertain the intended functions and appearance of each space.

·         Going to potential jobsites to take measurements and suggest design solutions.

·         Anticipating and informing clients of additional features which may be of use to them.

·         Giving careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety.

·         Creating a plan (via software) which details the layout and appearance of all installations and loose furniture.

·         Suggesting appropriate materials and finishes.

·         Assisting clients to select and supervise the work of independent contractors, so that their duties are conducted in accordance with clients’ visions.

·         Informing clients about appropriate care for the cabinets

·         Accurate recordkeeping, billing responsibilities, organizational skills

·         Observing prescribed building and safety regulations.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·         A College diploma in graphic arts

·         1-7 months of proven work experience or training in multimedia design

·         Efficient interpersonal skills; Client focus; Team player

·         Basic security clearance
