Salary: $36.60 per hour for 30 hours per week (overtime after 40 hours/week)

Job Description
Original Tandoori Kitchen is looking for a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee our daily operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth restaurant management, excellent customer service, and adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant
Establish, implement, and monitor operational procedures and service standards
Supervise, train, and schedule restaurant staff to ensure efficient service
Control inventory, order supplies, and negotiate with vendors to maintain cost efficiency
Monitor revenues, prepare financial and operational reports, and manage budgets
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations
Address and resolve customer complaints to maintain service quality
Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development
Assist in menu planning, portion control, and quality monitoring
Coordinate with senior management to achieve restaurant goals and implement new initiatives
Employment Requirements
Completion of secondary school
Either:

At least 2 years of experience in the food service industry
OR a college program in food service administration, hospitality, or related field + 6 months of experience
Strong English communication skills
