Overview

Our Ellerslie location is seeking an Assistant General Manager.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Work may be performed during days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays, 30-40 hours per week. Hourly wage $41.60.

Requirements:

Must have a minimum secondary school certificate and at least 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager, preferably in a steakhouse and/or Brazilian rodizio style restaurant.

Tasks

Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
Evaluate daily operations
Monitor staff performance
Plan and organize daily operations
Set staff work schedules
Supervise staff
Train staff
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Conduct performance reviews
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Provide customer service

The candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, have strong attention to detail and in an environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking. Must be client focused, dependable, possess excellent communication skills, flexible, reliable, team player and have the ability to multitask.
