Work hours: 30 hours per week (Permanent)

Wage: $36.92 per hour

+Main duties

– Supervise and coordinate construction workers and job site activities

– Train and arrange training for junior staff

– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

– Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials

– Build foundations, install floor systems, erect walls, and roof structures

– Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

– Prepare layouts according to building codes using precision measuring tools

 

+Requirements

– Completion of Secondary school is required

– Minimum 3 years of carpentry or construction experience is required, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory position

– Language: English
