Pizzano Pizza and Wings is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pizza Maker/Line Cook at our Mississauga location for our Evening Shift. This is a unique opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team in an organization that presents numerous opportunities for career progression.
Role and Responsibilities
The pizza maker/line cook is responsible for opening the pizzas, dressing and cooking pizzas in accordance with Pizzano Pizza’s recipes and quality guidelines. In addition, the pizza maker will ensure that par levels are met, preparation recipes are adhered to, and proper food safety procedures are followed.
We hiring for a full-time role only. Hourly compensation would be $20.00.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Stretching and opening the dough for the line
Preparing menu items to order
Maintaining a high degree of organization and cleanliness
Interfacing with product specialists to refine recipes and develop innovative production techniques and procedures
Accurately and consistently following the SOPs and recipes
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate:
Possess 3 to 5 years, and preferably more of culinary experience
Experience working with dough as an opener/stretcher
Is responsible and reliable
Has passion for their work and is looking for career advancement within an industry leading organization
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Recognizes the importance of constantly pursuing an ideal without compromise
Must be able to work weekends and evenings
Follow the recipes, maintain standard and quality of food as per restaurant standards and prepare various food items using different methods and kitchen equipment such as oven, broilers, fryers, and grills, and be able to assist team-members occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 per hour.

Experience:
culinary/cooking: 3 to 5 years or more (preferred)
Education:
College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
