Position: Home child care provider (NOC 44100)

Salary: $22/hour

Work hours: 30 hours /week

Employment type: full time, permanent

Work Location: West Vancouver, BC

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support and care for a young child. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping children grow, maintain their well-being, and support their development within the comfort of their own home.

Responsibilities:
· Monitor child to ensure they are aware of their physical and emotional needs and to maintain constant safety.

· Prepare hot healthy snacks and prepare meals

· Maintain a regular schedule of study time, mealtime and play time for the child

· Engage the child in fun learning activities and design daily activities

· Perform light housekeeping duties and keep all meals and activity areas clean and well organized

· Update parents on the child’s performance and development and of any problems, especially with socializing learning or physical activity

· Follow all curriculum guidelines and/or special rules as laid out by parents

· Perform other childcare support duties as required by employer

Qualifications:
· High school graduation certificate is required;

· Taking a training program in childcare or a related field is an asset;

· Have at least 1 year of experience looking after children;

· Proficiency in English;

· Organized and reliable;

· Healthy, enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated;

· Have a strong sense of responsibility.
