2873333 Ontario Inc (dba Ramen Isshin Ottawa) is seeking for a Head Cook to join our team.

 

Permanent; Full-time, (30-44 hours per week); $36.00 per hour. Bonus is available depending on sales performance.

Standard 6-8.8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9AM and 1:30AM as required.

 

Duties:

·      Cook everything on the menu;

·      Create ramen soup bases;

·      Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;

·      Maintain a clean kitchen;

·      Supervise all food preparation;

·      Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

 

Qualifications:

·      Minimum 5 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;

·      Previous experience with Japanese Ramen cuisine is an asset;

·      English language ability required;

·      Japanese language ability is an asset.
