Ramie’s Greek Restaurant, a well-established and locally loved Mediterranean dining destination in Delta, BC, is currently looking to hire a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team as soon as possible. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and customer service and are seeking someone who shares our enthusiasm for authentic Greek cuisine and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This is a long-term, permanent position and is open to qualified applicants.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods based on traditional Greek recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation in every dish.
Plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor inventory to ensure adequate supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area; ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff and assist in training new kitchen employees.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workstations.
Monitor food portions and waste to control food costs.
Assist in developing seasonal or specialty menu items.
Requirement:

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant setting
