Permanent Position: Truck Driver Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening shift.

Wage rate: $38.50 Hourly, for 35.00 Hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 4-464 Fraserview PL, Delta, British Columbia, CA, V3M6H9

Number of positions available: 1

Education: High School an asset

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver’s License (Class 1- or A) and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.

Experience: 7 months to less than a year of relevant experience

Languages: Basic Knowledge of English is required.

Job Duties:
• Prepares work schedules for all drivers and assigns routes to maximize productivity
• Regular suggestions on the improvisation of the routes to improve the performance
• Supervises and coordinates with dispatcher and truck driver to ensure schedules are met
• Train staff (truck drivers) on job duties and safety procedures
• Monitor truck drivers’ productivity and organize the work-flow
• Keep accurate logs, reports and records of all transportation goods.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve work methods and ensure quality of services and process.

Other: Candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada.
