Overview

We are seeking a Cook to join our team. The candidate should have knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing pizzas, sandwiches, and deep-fried foods (such as chicken wings and appetizers) according to established quality requirements and maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.

Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, deep fried oven and cutting tools in accordance with safety protocols.

Ensure food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain required standards of food safety.

Assist with preparation of other menu items when needed as part of kitchen operations.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.

Work with team members to provide timely service during busy periods.

Support training for new staff in procedures related to food handling and cooking techniques as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices is essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
