Reliable Granite Inc., based in Edmonton, is a construction services company specializing in the fabrication, installation, repair, and servicing of custom stone products for residential and commercial projects. The company installs granite, marble, quartzite, and other stone materials for countertops, vanities, fireplaces, walls, stairs, and related construction applications. Its services include site measurement, cutting, forming, polishing, fitting, installation, sealing, and on-site adjustments to meet project specifications and client requirements.

We are currently hiring a Countertop Installer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and commitment to excellence in stonework.

Job Title: Countertop Installer

Vacancy: 1 position

Location: Edmonton, AB

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $26.50/hour

Main Duties of the Job:

– Review drawings, work orders and project specifications to determine installation requirements.

– Measure and mark installation areas for countertops, vanity tops and backsplashes.

– Inspect cabinets, supports and stone components before installation.

– Transport and position granite, marble, quartzite and other countertop sections at job sites.

– Cut, trim, drill and make minor on-site adjustments using hand and power tools.

– Fit, level, align and secure countertop sections around sinks, appliances and walls.

– Join seams and apply adhesives, sealants, caulking and supporting hardware.

– Inspect completed work and repair, adjust, clean or polish installed countertops as required.

Employment requirements:

– High school education required

– 3-6 months experience in a similar position is required. On-the-job training will be provided.

– Technical skills in operating machinery and tools are essential. Ability to handle heavy materials and work long periods of physical labor.
