Job Title: Retail Sales Supervisor (NOC 62010)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, full time (32-40 hours/week)

Language Requirement: English

Number of Positions available: 1

Compensation: $23.15 /hour plus 4% vacation pay

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: 1-7 months of work experience working as a Cashier in retail environment is required. The working knowledge of POS system is an asset.

Job Duties:

The Retail Sales Supervisor is responsible for efficient operation of store by supervising the fellow employees. This position reports directly to President of company.

• Assist in handling day to day operations of the gas station and the convenience store.

• Supervise employees by scheduling and coordinating their work activities

• Assist in preparing the bi-weekly work schedules of staff

• Perform weekly fuel inspections and record them.

• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed by staff as well as by contactors visiting the sites.

• Return the unsold merchandise to vendors

• Resolve issues that arise such as customer complaints and inventory shortage

• Train new and the existing staff about the new products and promotions.

• Assist managers to prepare the inventory orders, and keep record of the inventory.

• Assure company’s Goal Zero (no harm to anyone on site) protocol is followed by all staff to maintain safer work environment for everyone.

• Preparing the day end sales reports from POS as per company procedure.

• Attend the customers in a courteous manner, and keep the store and pumps clean and sanitized for customers.

• Monitor competitors’ fuel pricing and submit to the corporate office in a timely manner.

• Assist in configuring store layout to increase product sales

• Provide the store incident details to store manager as they occur

• Operate the cash register
