Job Summary
Samco Flooring Ltd. is hiring an experienced Floor Installer to joinour team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Surrey, BC,with work performed on-site at various client locations.
Wage: $38.50 per hour Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 2 to 3 years in floor installation
Language: English
Responsibilities
Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine workrequirements
Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
Measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors
Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings
Prepare and install hardwood floors
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Estimate costs and materials
Prepare floors for installation
Employ knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting
