🚛 Long Haul Truck Drivers Wanted – 3 Positions Available

SAMSID TRANSPORT LTD., based in Surrey, BC, is currently hiring three (3) Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team as soon as possible.

Position Details:
Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver
Wage: $37.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: Various locations across Canada
Key Responsibilities:
Plan travel routes and make necessary arrangements
Load and unload goods
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Inspect vehicle systems (tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration unit, etc.)
Perform and document pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
Perform emergency roadside repairs when required
Ensure the safety and security of cargo
Transport and handle dangerous goods
Handle delivery payments when required
Job Requirements:
Language: English
Education: Completion of secondary school
License: Valid Class 1 or Class A driver’s license with a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required upon request)
Experience:At least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years, or
3 years of experience within the last 5 years
Training: Dangerous goods training will be provided
