Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time shift (Part-time is also available)

Wage: $20.00/hour

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Benefit: 4% of vacation pay

Job Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hairstylist OR Completion of a two-year vocational school for hairstylists

 

Duties

-Cut and trim hair according to the client’s instructions or preferences

-Provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening and provide scalp conditioning massages

-Apply for hair extensions in various ways

-Available to use special machines or equipment for special perms such as Digital perm, Straight perm, Repair heating perm, Clinic perm and other special perms.

-Consult with clients on stylistic options for their hair

-Provide bleach, dye and hair tinting services
