Silverfox Pub and Liquor Store located in Sparwood BC is looking for an KITCHEN MANAGER to join its team as soon as possible.

JOB DUTIES:

Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all kitchen operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and safety.
Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff, including cooks, helpers, and dishwashers, to maintain smooth daily operations.
Ensure all food preparation meets company standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food and labour costs to maintain profitability.
Inspect kitchen areas and equipment regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
Manage and resolve any operational or staffing issues that may arise during service.
Maintain records of food purchases, sales, and wastage for reporting and cost analysis.
Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards as required by local health authorities.
Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, and discipline of kitchen staff as needed.

Requirement:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Completion of some university degree or college diploma in hospitality or related field.
OR
2 years of experience in related working atmosphere is required.

SALARY: $37/hr. for 32 to 35 hrs./week and over time after 40 hr./week
