Overview
Sipkens Nurseries (1811979 Ontario Inc) has an opening for 4 full time, seasonal Landscape Labourers.
The Landscape Labourer will be responsible for planting, installing, and maintaining customer gardens and lawns through the use of various tools and machinery with a priority to customers service, efficiency, and safety. This person will desire to work in a team environment, have a strong work ethic and be detail oriented.
Responsibilities: install rock gardens, ponds, patios, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences, water features, lighting & planters. Perform Fall & Spring clean ups, weed gardens, prune shrubs & trees. Edge around flower beds, walkways, and walls. Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes. Decorate gardens with stones & pavers. Execute other maintenance duties as directed by Supervior/Manager. Ensure job sites are clean of debris and materials before leaving client’s property.
Requirements: No education required, will train. Willingness to learn & develop new skills, ability to take instruction, work in a team.
Working Conditions: Fast paced environment, ability to lift/handle heavy materials. Physically demanding: bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Salary: $22.00/hour
