Job Title: Line Cook (NOC: 63200)
Employer: Soupa Kitchen
Location: 589E Bay StreetVictoria, BC V8T 1P5
Wage: 21.18 hourly / 30 hours per week

Job Requirements:

Languages
• English

Education
• Minimum: completion of Secondary education

Experience
• At least 1 year to less than 2 years work experience as a cook or related field.

Duties:
– Cooking menu items using various kitchen gadgets and cooking methods.
– Maintaining a clean kitchen station and work area.
– Preparing meat, vegetables, garnishes and other ingredients to be used for cooking.
-Plans menus, determine size of food preparations, estimate food requirements and costs.
-Inspect kitchen
– Keeping a stock inventory records.

Work Conditions
• Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ability to distinguish between colors, standing for long
periods of time.
