Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $28.85 per hour
Working Hours: 30–40 hours per week
Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation. Extended medical insurance is provided after 6 months of employment.

Job Duties

–          Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries, and forward messages to the appropriate staff member

–          Prepare, edit, and proofread routine correspondence, documents, and reports

–          Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems, including accurate record-keeping and document tracking for various immigration streams

–          Support the team by compiling application packages, ensuring all required supporting documents are scanned, printed, and arranged for submission to IRCC.

–          Record and prepare brief meeting notes when required

–          Assist with basic office administration such as ordering supplies, scanning, printing, and arranging courier/mail services

–          Support the immigration team with general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned to ensure efficient office operations.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries or previous clerical experience is required
