Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee our café’s front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain smooth daily operations. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role requiring excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish methods to meet work schedules
Supervise and coordinate activities of café and restaurant staff (5–15 people)
Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Address customers’ complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Supervise service of alcohol and maintain responsible service standards
Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience as a barista in a specialty coffee establishment
Minimum 12 months experience working in an establishment serving alcohol, including making cocktails
Experience supervising staff in a café, restaurant, or food service setting
Serving It Right Certificate (required)
High school diploma or equivalent; college or hospitality training an asset
