Sprout Bread is a licensed cafe specializing in sourdough bread, pastry, specialty coffee and brunch food items all made in-house. We offer dine-in seating for up to 100 guests as well as takeout, online sales and wholesale bread and pastry sales.

JOB DETAILS:
Location: Kelowna, BC
Salary: $29.00 / hour
Vacancies: 1 Vacancy
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time32 to 40 hours/week
Start date: As soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Type of industry experience: Food and beverages

Work setting:
Food service establishment, Coffee shop, On-site customer service, Restaurant, Bakery, Café

Personal suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Team player, Reliability

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Required skills:

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food,
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures,
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Hire food service staff,
• Ensure food service and quality control,
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns,
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage,
• Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres,
• Establish work schedules,
• Provide customer service,

Supervision: 5-10 people, Cooks, Food service counter attendants and food preparers
