We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our industrial operations team at State Window Corporation. This role is critical to maintaining our manufacturing equipment and ensuring optimal production efficiency through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. JOB DETAILS

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Technician – Industrial
Number of Vacancies: 1 Position Available
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Position
Work Schedule: 44 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: On-site at our Woodbridge facility, ON L4H 3V9 (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.)
Language of Work: English or French
Hourly Wage: $33.10 – $43.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in industrial machinery and equipment
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and procedures
Repair or replace defective machinery parts using appropriate tools and techniques
Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up operations
Estimate costs and materials needed for maintenance and repair projects
Perform routine preventive maintenance work on all manufacturing machinery
Operate machining tools to fabricate custom parts as needed
Install new machinery and equipment according to manufacturer specifications
Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation for all equipment
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and workplace health standards
Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to minimize downtime
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become problems
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance
Respond promptly to emergency breakdown situations and equipment failures
Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Required Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
