Overview
Salary: $18.00 per hour for a 35 hrs work week. Salary depends on experience.
Overtime may be required from 35-45 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour.
Two days off per week on Saturday and Sunday.
Minimum of High School diploma required.
Must be flexible. Job hours from 8:00am-3:00 or 10:00-5:00 pm Mon-Fri.
Job located in Kingston ON. English/Mandarin/Cantonese spoken is required.
Nanny’s Responsibilities:
Tasks
· Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
· Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
· Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
· Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
· Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
· Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
· Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
· Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
· Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants.
· Supervise and care for children.
· Take the children to and from school and to appointments when nesseary.
· Tend to emotional well-being of children.
· Supervise and care for a 4-year-old, a 2 year old and a newborn baby.
Additional information:
· Must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and good at speaking three languages mention above.
Special additional requirement
· Since our children are sensitive to strangers, we require the nanny to present a warm and friendly appearance that is pleasing to the kids.
