Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken, grilled sandwiches, fries, poutine, and other dishes.
Plan menus, estimate ingredient requirements, and determine food portion sizes and costs.
Prepare ingredients, sauces, and toppings, and accommodate customers’ food allergies or intolerances.
Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely, while monitoring food quality and cooking temperatures.
Requisition and order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment, and maintain inventory records.
Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain clean and sanitary workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and safe food handling.
Coordinate with other staff to prepare accurate customer orders promptly.
Skills
Ability to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to recipes and customer orders.
Skills in ingredient preparation, portion control, and food presentation.
Ability to safely operate grills, deep fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of safe food handling, food storage, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to accommodate food allergies, intolerances, and special dietary requests.
Ability to monitor food quality and cooking temperatures.
Ability to maintain food inventory records and identify supplies needed.
Strong organization, time management, and teamwork skills in a busy kitchen.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
