Overview
Tofino Vacation Rentals is looking for 2 Cleaners to join the team in Tofino, BC.
This is a full-time position; $21.00 per hour; 40 hours per week. Benefits include extended health and dental.
Duties:
- Clean, sanitize, and prepare short-term rental units between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as appliances, light switches, and door handles
- Restock basic supplies such as toiletries and paper products as required
- Remove garbage and recycling and dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations
- Inspect completed units to ensure they meet company quality standards and are guest-ready
- Report any damages, maintenance issues, or missing items to management
- Follow cleaning checklists and schedules to ensure timely turnover of units
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and in accordance with workplace procedures
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- English language ability is required
