Duties and Job Responsibilities:

 

·         Evaluate the features of products or services to identify the marketing and advertising requirements of the company.

·         Develop and implement growth marketing strategies and guidance to drive adoption of company’s TMS platform among carriers and commercial users.

·         Collaborate with the IT and product teams to analyze user needs and competitor TMS platforms, translate insights into product requirements documents (PRDs), and guide system iterations while continuously improving the platform’s UI/UX and user onboarding experience.

·         Lead marketing initiatives for new logistics services (e.g., cross-border moving, long-haul shipping, car transport) from ideation to market launch.

·         Design and execute paid and organic campaigns across multiple digital channels (Google Ads, Meta Ads, WeChat, LinkedIn, Email, SEO).

·         Manage social media platforms, including responding to customer reviews and showcasing testimonials.

·         Lead logistics partnership development with transportation providers across Canada and the U.S., negotiating commercial terms and integrating strategic vendors to build a cost-effective, scalable TMS ecosystem that supports both domestic and cross-border service expansion.

·         Coordinate carrier integrations, manage rate structures, and oversee the negotiation and preparation of contracts with North American truck companies

·         Conduct surveys to gather public opinion and identify the priorities and concerns of target audiences.

·         Create, execute, and assess public relations strategies and programs to communicate organizational policies and initiatives to clients, employees, and the public.

·         Build customer success and marketing automation workflows to improve conversion and retention.

·         Support the development brochures, newsletters, reports, briefs, speeches, presentations, websites, and social media posts, and other communications materials.

·         Lead the planning and execution of publicity initiatives and promotional events like workshops, meetings, ceremonies, and programs for publicity, fundraising, or educational purposes.

·         Serve as the spokesperson for the organization, responding to both written and verbal inquiries to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with the company’s values and objectives.

 

Qualification & Skill Requirements:

 

·         A Bachelor’s Degree or a college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is preferred.

·         Minimum 2 years of management experience in product development, platform operations, or growth marketing roles is preferred

·         Hands-on experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably in a North American logistics context is an asset

·         Proven knowledge in B2B digital marketing or SaaS platform promotion is preferred

·         Familiar with North American carrier negotiations, freight pricing, and logistics partner onboarding is an asset

·         Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability

·         Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, CRM/automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Hubspot), and analytics platforms is an asset

·         Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
