We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Retail Sales Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth. The successful candidate will be expected to work 40 hours per week, with an annual salary of $97,760. The job duties and requirements for this position are listed below:

Job duties:

· Plan, direct, and evaluate the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring full alignment with corporate objectives and partner (TELUS/Koodo) service standards.

· Manage store budgets, monitor monthly revenues against key performance indicators, and authorize operational expenditures within approved limits.

· Lead and manage staff, including organizing work schedules, assigning daily duties, and supervising the sales and supervisory teams.

· Direct the recruitment, hiring, and training of new sales representatives, and implement performance evaluation protocols to support staff retention.

· Study local market trends and competitor activities to analyze consumer demand and work with the team to implement localized pricing, credit, and promotional policies.

· Source and negotiate with vendors/suppliers to procure merchandise, monitor store inventory levels to prevent shortages, and oversee loss prevention protocols.

· Develop and execute marketing strategies and localized sales campaigns to increase store traffic, brand awareness, and revenue.

· Evaluate customer service standards and act as the primary point of resolution for complex customer requests or escalated service issues.

Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required, higher education, especially in business, marketing and related fields will be preferred.
Two years of experience in sales is required.
Two years of management experience is required.
Candidates with experience relevant to telecommunications or mobile devices are preferred.
