Overview

We require a Pastry maker/Baker in a busy Bakeshop store and Catering company in Toronto.

The duties that we require are: To prepare and mix dough, and batter for pies, breads, rolls, sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes.  To fill and prepare customers orders in the quality and  standard of our shop. To frost and decorate cookies, cakes and other baked goods.

Salary is $19.00 an hour with 40 hours per week. This is a full time position.

Completion of Secondary School is required, On the job training will be provided, and completion of a Three year Apprenticeship program is preferable but not mandatory. Prior experience of a minimum of six months is required.

Preference for this position will be given to Canadian, permanent residents, new immigrants, indigenous people, vulnerable youth, older workers and people with disabilities with appropriate experience  and the ability to speak and read English.
