Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time, Day, Morning, Weekends

Wage: $34.00 per hour; 40 hours per week

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 to 3 years of carpentry experience

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements; Measure, cut, assemble and join materials made of wood, steel and other materials; Install interior steel stud; Install vapour barriers and thermal/sound insulation; Measure, cut and install drywall; Fit and install doors, mouldings and hardware; Assemble plywood panels; Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids, panels, acoustic tiles, coffered ceilings; hangers, etc.  Install specialty and custom ceiling and wall systems. Use various hand and power tools; May prepare construction specifications and material estimates; Work at heights using scaffolding

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail
